I agree. Where did you get this information and what Roman period are you referring to? [citation needed]

What is more nobody actually KNOWS what the word Paul used only twice, with no other scriptural occurrence, definitely MEANS. So to apply it specifically to 'homosexuals' as if the meaning is patently self explanatory is a bit dishonest isn't it? Infallibility of scripture does not extend to sloppy translation of words of uncertain meaning, surely?
