I would like to clarify that when this angry chap said he was an 'ex-matelot', he is trying to convey that he used to serve in the Royal Navy. Anyhow, I also served in the Navy and for the record, we are not all like this disturbed fellow.
I am also perplexed by his anger directed toward government funded endeavours. As a member of the armed forces, he was in the pay of the government.
