Can anyone ID this episode of the West Wing? What I remember is that the President was trying to find a reason to prevent the exploitation of a wilderness area (oil drilling I think) and Josh came up with the solution, that the President had the power to declare the area a National Park.

(wistful sigh) We sooo need Jeb Bartlett right now. Watching old episodes of West Wing is almost painful these days.

I watched the episode this afternoon and felt quite reassured. Trump is just a temporary blip. This too will pass.

National Parks are harder to do these days, but a number of National Monuments have been created for such purposes.
