Just us then?

I'd hoped there might be a few more. Then I could play the traditional GB game of rushing up to total strangers and saying " You are so and so, aren't you?"

And discovering that no, they're not [Hot and Hormonal]

Me me me! I am going. Please feel free to rush up to middle-aged fat, balding men in t-shirts and shorts or jeans asking if they are Schroedingers Cat. I should be easy to spot.

I am often to be found at the very front of the Glade stage for the evening performances.

Yes...not wanting to be a party pooper but there may be the teensiest snag with that, given the typical GB demographic. [Smile]

To which you respond: "Yes. And no"

I'll be there, with Mrs Tor and the Torlets. Not contributing nor volunteering this year, so just kicking back and enjoying it.

I'll be there, along with The Machine Elf and the Elf Lass. Miffy, you know what I look like already, although I think I am considerably greyer than the last time we met! This is our first time at Boughton - we last went the final year at Cheltenham.

It will be our last GB for the next [mumble mumble] years as this time next year the Elf Lass starts school. So we'll probably make more of an effort to attend Solas from next year.

Yes, I'd recognise you easily, JTL. Yet to meet the Elf Lass.
[Smile] I, too, am older and much much greyer. I'm sure you'll like it at Boughton. It's far more of a greenfield site than Cheltenham, and now that some of the earlier teething troubles have been sorted, it's far easier to get round. I've no little Ines, now, but get the impression there should be plenty to keep Elf Lass busy and happy.

I will be there as part of the Access team, as usual - if I'm not working or eating, I'm usually in the Jesus Arms with the SCM/Diverse Church huddle.

I've no set haunt outside of working (Listening). Last year I spent a lot of time in the 24 Hour Cafe, this time, who knows? This year, as last I've not even downloaded the guide yet. I shall leave it all to serendipity. [Smile]

In case anyone is interested, I am planning to skip the Sunday COmmunion this year and:

1. Have a long lie in
2. Have a shower
3. Sit in the Tiny Tea Tent and see who is there.

So if anyone else fancies missing it you might be able to find me.

That was a fabulous Greenbelt! Lovely weather, enjoyable music, comedy, poetry and worship. Didn't go to many talks as I will digest them more slowly over the coming year from the memory stick with the talks that we have ordered.

The challenge is always to put the inspiration into practice back home but I love that Greenbelt gives a glimpse of what faith can be when let loose from some of its bounds and when it is inclusive, active and engaged with art, culture and ideas.

At least I've caught up with some of my sleep now!

Hope you all had a good time too!
