I have just posted on the book thread and instead of my avatar there was a red cross. H [Waterworks] ave I been banned? (sob)

But my avatar appears here. Odd!

And has now appeared there, too. End of thread?

You look like your usual self on that link, as far as I can see. Maybe your browser had a "moment" and didn't load the file properly?

As far as I know, the only Avatar which is meant to vanish is Simon's. Unless anyone knows of any others?

If it's the red cross I think it is, yeah, that happens to me once in a while on various sites.

FWIW, still not working properly from my browser; I only see the right side of Jacobsen's face, in a line running from the forehaed along the nose to the chin. The left side of her face is in darkness!
