Good morning!
I just felt the need to share, that I've joined the lutheran church in bavaria a week ago. Having struggled with the "should I ... ?" and "Do you think, that's really the thing you want to do? Think about all those..." for like three years, I finally went to take this step and decided that even if I would consider myself agnostic to a certain point, it's going to be right for me and help me to explore and strengthen my spirituality, which I was hungering for for like years since I dropped out of the roman church.
I know it's going to be disapointing some times (and has been even in this one week, when I received a letter from the local church, which wasn't even signed by hand and contained nothing but standard bla bla, which really made me sad feeling like I was nothing but a number and business as usual), but my hope is to find those corners, where people actually go to live it and having the courage to stick there...
Like mentioned before, I just felt the need to share this since I'm living in quite an atheist social sphere and I could talk to hardly nobody abouth this without getting into an argument.
Also, I'm also very much interessted to hear about your experiences with the big churches.
All the best!
