My registration was confirmed about half an hour ago, so I thought I should introduce myself. After all, it's only good manners.
I'm a copywriter and former journalist who has always found himself drawn to Christianity. This interest has survived a vigorously homophobic Alpha Course, and has seen me spending time with the Quakers. A year ago, I became profoundly mentally ill after spending ten years caring for a partner with bipolar disorder and doing a job I had come to dislike.
Now I'm on the mend and working part-time for a much smaller company in a more rewarding role. My personal life may still resemble something that has been hit by a car, but my interest in God and desire to know more seems to have survived my illness.
And with that, here I am.
