OK, this is a place to suggest what has happened to the Malaysian Airlines plane. It can be either serious, detailed suggestions of the route it might have taken, or fanciful explorations of possibilities - like, the Jet Stream has blown the Bermuda Triangle over to the Indian ocean, and absorbed this plane. Or even wilder.
This is not intended to be tasteless, just that the mystery deserves someone to have written a story about it, and some of the suggestions are pretty wacky. This is just a chance to offer more ridiculous suggestions.
I do accept that there is a good chance it has actually crashed somewhere, and all on board are dead. I have no intention of minimising that tragedy.

As the news is just breaking that debris has been found at the end of the southern arc, one of the two places where they thought the plane might have crashed, perhaps we might hold off on this for the time being until the picture becomes clearer.

The photos being shown here now show something large, but very indistinct.

It may still be days before any confirmation on that sighting. A this point, any news is better than none.
