We went to an Earth Hour, carbonless concert last night. By candlelight in a venue which I was last at in 1978. I won a door prize. The last time I won a door prize anywhere was in 1966 when the tickets cost 5¢ and I went home with a hockey stick. Holy catfish Batman.
Then I got home 2 beers later, and someone had sent me the link to this 1970 Joni Mitchell concert on youtube. And I got to thinking of all the coffee houses we used to go to, earnestly strumming our guitars and trying to do harmony during open sessions.
My thoughts were of a moderately random airing of reminiscences without crying too excessively into our cups, hands and all over the floor.
