Hey, Ottawans!
It occurs to me that we have not had a proper shipmeet for some time.
Proper shipmeet: That which involves imbibing of alcoholic beverages.
There is a small window of opportunity between May 13 and May 23 which has miraculously become free.
New people and old-timers all welcome. This will be your last chance until the summer! Make the most of it.

Sorry to be so long in getting to this.
In principle I'm available any noon and most evenings at dinnertime from now to the end of the month.
In reality, things are a bit up in the air. My daughter is due to give birth on 30 May -- given her current size (not a sure guide of course) and her mother's history (our first ws 2 1/2 weeks early) any time after about now, we could be getting a call to drive posthaste to London, where we will then likely be for up to two weeks.
Best advice -- someone call it, the earlier the better for me, and we'll see what happens. I could make it for lunch downtown or around Augustine's area for a little before 1 on Tuesday (20th), or Wednesday.

I'll be there and may we a horrific Hawai'ian shirt to justify my presence and beautify this insalubrious part of town.

I'll be there about 12:30 -- I drop Mary at the VIA station at 12 and will drive on from there.
