For those who don't know, you can have fun making online snowflakes at SnowDays.me.
It's a year-round, free site. You can make snow flakes to your heart's content, and share them with other people.
The best way to figure flake-making out is just to do it; but here are the basics of posting your flake:
--You don't have to sign up for anything. There is a form you can fill out when you post your flake, though.
--Shipmates put our Ship name, and "SOF" in the "From" field, so we can see each other's flakes.
--You can leave the message field blank, or put a greeting, poem, etc.
--If you put your e-mail address at the bottom of the form, you'll be privately notified if someone puts a comment on your flake. Your address isn't shown on your flake, nor is it given out.
--You can also put a comment on someone else's flake. (The same e-mail rules apply.) Fun way to have short conversations with Shipmates, or strangers. I've even got one or two strangers whose flakes I comment on each year, and vice-versa.
--It's also very calming to just watch the flakes fall.
Enjoy! And post about your favorite flakes here.

I was telling some friends about the snowflake-making website a few days ago, but couldn't remember what it was called. Thanks for the timely reminder

Tell me about it. I flake all year long. Electronic doodling, time waster supreme!
