If you had to chose who of the following would you prefer to be the next US President?

This poll has been moved to another board.

I voted Rand Paul in this poll but if I had to vote for one of the Dems it would be Bernie Sanders. Indeed if the Dem nominee was Sanders and the Republican was someone like Bush or Christie or Graham then I would prefer Sanders

Despite some recent digressions on the Labour Party Leadership Poll thread, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that this thread should only be for discussion of the poll itself. Talk about the issues, candidates, and politics in general is distinctly Purgatorial, and should take place there.

Because let's face it, even though half the candidates are clowns, nobody takes you seriously if you're talking about something weighty while wearing oversize shoes and a red nose!

I no longer have a political party affiliation. I am registered declines to state. My late mother taught me "Vote the man, not the party". I still abide by that advice and support no party and no politician financially!

I have been voting since I was eighteen and I am a former field deputy registrar for the county of Los Angeles.

I don't know if it's good or bad to say that I only recognised five of the names from this side of the pond.
