Whenever someone starts a thread with a really boring title, Zappa starts snoring. [Snore]

The trouble is, the Hosts' lounge is really small (that's all they give us for all this hard work) and the noise gets really loud.

Perhaps an overdose of reasons to snore might cure him once and for all and give us poor beleagured hosts some peace and quiet.

To this end, you are invited to think up some really, really boring thread titles (even more boring than the ones which have already been used before) - can you make Zappa snore?

[Snore] = bored
[Snore] [Snore] = very bored
[Snore] [Snore] [Snore] = very, very bored
etc.

(But be sure to post them here, not as real threads, or the snores might turn to [Mad] - not to be recommended!)

(You will find this really sad but, due to my many walks on Dartmoor and my many wrestings with intriguingly-designed gate fastenings, I really really was going to write a book on this, when aged about 17. As you can see I was a strange teenager. Of course, I never did write the book. So now is your chance to make the millions I could have had. [Biased] )

*When I was a freshman undergrad, we had a forum (later shut down by the administration) which had, among many other popular threads,** "Post Here When Drunk." I remember posting on behalf of a member who had been given a suspension a few times . . .

**The word association game was the most popular, followed closely by what was supposed to be a discussion of Masters and Wilson . . . but quickly just became "people oversharing about their sex lives." The jokes about the student government treasurer just became even better after that one.

Watching the newly decorated lounge paint dry.

You can see you are Methodist, if it was Reformed there would be yet another thread

"Corrections to minutes of church meetings I have attended"

And of course the follow up of that of:

"Corrections to corrections of minutes of church meetings I have attended"

Sometimes our pedantry over everything being done in decent order is a pain (and yes I think I have been in meetings that have gone a stage further).

What about:

[Paranoid] you realize I'm talking about things like line thickness and length, CO2 strength, relative temperature, and coolant levels and pressures? the most fascinating bit would be the technique requirements for pale ales versus IPAs versus porters, and the difference between CO2 and nitrogen on pouring style.

Not talking the various microbrews, etc. which could be interesting.
