The fireworks are loaded, the city is filling up. Spectators began to grab the best spots yesterday. The harbour is crowded with ferries, small boats.

Time for a thread to welcome in the new year.

We have a new Ship sailing in the New Year.

Illegally-obtained fireworks going off down the road from us. Mrs BA and I sitting quietly, about to open a bottle of bubbly and play the recording of the 2017 New Year's Day concert from the VPO to take us up to midnight.
