A couple of points shipmates.
Firstly, please could you avoid adding jokes to the threads. They tend to be either distracting (and we end up discussing the later joke) or for the peanut gallery. Which is of course not such a bad thing but we are trying to discuss the nature of what is blasphemous, in poor taste or offensive and how any or all of that could be funny.
Which brings me on to my second point: This thread is a bit of a paradox, a thread seriously discussing jokes. You get your chance to vote on how funny and or offensive you find each joke. Please resist the temptation to then add a comment telling us all how you voted. In fact go the extra mile. Have a sandwich and a glass of whatever lubricates you and think up some reasons why you are groaning, laughing or writing to your respective democratically elected person describe how sinful the interweb is.
Therefore can we apply ourselves a little more than just an opinion, lets back that opinion up with some reasoning and theology. Thank you.
