On another thread I came across the name of 'The Ship of Fools' in Italian:
Nave degli Sciocchi
which sounded very impressive and exotic. With also an interesting reference to the 'nave' of a church, which often does look like an upturned ship.
I wondered what other names for the ship people could discover or come up with, either real or imagined.
Bateau de Bumblers would make a good start. A boat full of people bumbling about (in Frenglish). [ 29. April 2011, 17:48: Message edited by: Firenze ]

"Nef" also means both "boat" and "nave" in French. There might be a pun to be made there. Nave of knaves, or something.
