Viola has stood down as a full time Admin due to her off board commitments. She remains with us in an advisory capacity. We are grateful for her contribution to the Ship over the years and will miss her a great deal.
In order to mix things up a bit, Viola has been replaced with not one, but two bright, shiny new Admins - Kelly Alves and Marvin the Marvin.
Please wish Kelly and Marvin luck in their new roles and Viola all the best with the real life thing.

I think Viola was an admin when I signed on the Ship. I generally try to behave well enough that I don't see much of the admins, but I've read enough of her judgments to realize she was very even-handed. I trust she will enjoy her retirement.
As for the new admins, I would be hard pressed to think of two people as passionate about these boards as Kelly and Marvin. Congratulations and condolences to both of them.

I've been host or admin on these 'ere boards since just after their current incarnation, and I've made a stack of brilliant friends and learned a lot about human nature!
But - for those of you who are saying 'Viola who?', the last year has been rather more taken up with family commitments of various types, and I can't think of two better people than Kelly & Marvin to help steer this fabulous ship.
