Just so you don't all think I've done and left you for good. I've been busy with work and I've also been on my other 'olidays! Two weeks in sunny Cyprus catching some lovely rays before Crimbo.

Anyhoo... "Bob and I" or "Bob and Me"? Which is it?

Apparently it depends on what me and old Bobby were up to; is it singular or plural? Cunning eh?

So...

"Who ordered the Steak?"

"Me. 'cos I'm a big fat git who likes a nice bit of beef, and that isn't dirty at all because it is singular. I'm going to scoff it all myself."

therefore "Bob and me would be wrong".

or...

"Who ordered the Steak?"

"Bob and me. Because we are tight-fisted sods who like to share a nice bit of beef together. Which is exactly as dirty as it sounds and is most definitely a plural activity. And you won't be getting a tip either young Comet (look at 'er Bob, you can tell 'er sort... right little strumpet I'll be bound... Bob!"

and would be correct!

Good eh?

Comet, the next time you don't get a tip you can choose to correct your customers grammar!

I'm reading up on how greengrocers use them apostrophe thingies now.
