We kept the feast with a Low Mass on Thursday am, but celebrated in a more grand manner on Sunday, observing Corpus Christi as our 'feast of title,' which is Church of the Holy Communion.
The details: Organ Prelude - Le Banquet Céleste (Messiaen) Entry Hymn - Thou Who at Thy First Eucharist (Gibbons tune) Proper Sequence - Lauda Sion, sung complete Offertory Anthem - 'Ave verum' (Byrd)
After Communion: Hymn 'O Salutaris' (Hereford) Then outdoor procession of the MBS (first time here, I believe), singing 'Alleluia, Sing to Jesus' (Hyfrydol) with no accompaniment (and we stayed on pitch!) - twice through the hymn got us out the door, around the block and back Hymn 'Tantum ergo' (St. Thomas) Then Benediction of the BlSac, dismissal & exit hymn 'Lord Dismiss Us' (Sicilian Mariners', and all that in 1 hour & 40 minutes -- and yes, there was a sermon! And all that followed by a great lunch in the parish hall.

St Alban Brooke St and All Saints Margaret Street celebrated High Mass on the day - the former with an indoor and the latter with an outdoor procession - and both followed by Benediction. And all the Cathedrals had a Sung Eucharist.
I attended the festival yesterday at St Mary Bourne Street. Solemn Evensong and Double Benediction with versicles, Psalms and responses sung to plainsong, Mag and Nunc to Wesley, a beautiful anthem by Lobo, and ending with the Salve Regina sung to the solemn tone. The carpet of flowers looked (and smelt) beautiful and during the procession Laud O Sion thy salvation was sung rousingly, and during it more flowers were scattered by two delightful children. The only thing missing was the Pink Gin!!

Our small shack in the suburbs did honour the Solemnity of Corpus Christi - unfortunately, given a number of factors (including torrential rain) there was no outdoor procession.
Our music selection was:
Preludes: ‘Cibavit eos’ (‘He fed them’) and ‘Gloria’ from William Byrd's Mass for the Feast of Corpus Christi.
Entrance hymn: 'Lord enthroned in heavenly splendour'
Gradual: 'Alleluia, sing to Jesus'
Sermon reflection: ’Anima Christi' ‘Soul of Christ’ by Aquinas
Offertory: 'Thee we adore, hidden Saviour', sung to Adoro Te
Communion Music: 'Pange lingua gloriosi’
Post Communion Hymn: 'Soul of my saviour'
Recessional Hymn: 'Now let us from this table rise'
The Angelus
Postlude: Lauda Sion Salvatorem

Only thing missing was the Kensitites outside bawling "no Popery!"
Corpus Christi fell flatter than a week-old glass of beer here, and left a similarly sour taste. Actually sour beer would have caught more wasps that we did that day - if you catch my drift...

All the Anglican ones seem to have celebrated with a Sung Eucharist on the day - the RCs (in England and Wales at least) transferred to Sunday.

Even Bradford? The Sung Eucharist at Derby was actually at the Bridge Chapel, although this is technically part of the Cathedral.

Gosh. I mean, I know from Anglican pond differences, but they really are new every morning, aren't they?

Bradford is probably one of the few exceptions.

Would be very surprised if Bristol did. They only had a said Lunchtime Eucharist for the Annuciation. I didn't check this year but I think I did last year and they weren't. Unfortunately they aren't showing the music list online for some reason at the moment.

Corpus Christi is in the CofE's Common Worship, unlike either the Canadian BAS or the US BCP.

They usually replace choral evensong at 5.15 with a choral eucharist on a feast day - but they don't usually have the choir on Thursdays.

True enough. Plus, having gone and said that, it turns out that at least one cathedral did have a Sung Eucharist on the day - in French, no less.
