Many thanks to Jack o' the Green for a most generous supply and the very kind card. My wife and I opened the parcel together and her eyes widened as the number of bars fell out. "I know it's really for you, but there's plenty to share" she said. "Yummy!" she said ....

Opened it last night-- a box of yum! Lots of tablet, and also lots of Scottish made chocolate! I feel spoiled! Thank you, NEQ!

My parcel went in the post this morning.

Much, much sympathy from the man in the PO about the lack of the requested chocolate in Piglet's country!

Jacobsen, thank you very much for the lovely surprise that arrived this morning. I feel well and truly spoiled with four delicious bars of excellent chocolate, which really brightened up my Monday morning. Thank you also for the pretty card, now on my desk, and for taking the time and trouble to do this!

Finally got my act together and posted chocolate today. The woman at the postal agency and I exchanged stories of childhood peanut slabs, which were one of the few specialty chocolates available when we were children.

I hope to convert the world to Whittaker's peanut slabs - one person at a time [Big Grin]

Huge thank-you to Japes, from whom a positively indecent quantity of Galaxy chocolate arrived today.

Your timing could hardly have been better, as we're booked on the ferry on Thursday for our move to Fredericton.

Thank you! [Yipee]

My parcel having arrived just before I went away on holiday, I have been a bit remiss in posting my thanks here.
Boogie - oh, Boogie - what an amazing parcel. I am utterly bechocolated... despite the Smudgelet having stolen the buttons. I think I may have died and gone to heaven without realising. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

I returned home from a week on the road to find a nice big parcel of assorted chocolate! I had to immediately sample the G&B burnt toffee. Heavenly!

Thank you, Ferijen, for the treats and the nice note.

All that I'm saying is that, if I were the performing type, there would currently be a video of me doing dramatic readings from the Glasgow Bible's Auld Testament. So many memories of Father Dominic conjured up with that one...

I haven't a place to put him yet, but my Wee Windup Scotsman will be finding a place next to my "why do you have a cow there?" cow that goes with me every time I move. It's nice to have a new Something Unexpected for my new digs—so many thanks from us, K!

I apologise, nor has John Holding.

A very well-travelled parcel* is sitting here, awaiting for my sodding work to sort out the pay I'm due and budgeted to receive.

* it has been in sniffing distance of a number of well-known distilleries in Scotland with the intention of adding to it then, but I knew I hadn't been paid when I was on my own and allowed to visit the last few.

Deprivation may lead to depravity. Depravity may lead to deprivation (in the form of a fast of contrition). But, fear not, my depravity is not so extreme that I'll be breaking out the sackcloth and ashes ... though a tribute of sufficient quality to produce a period of indulgence may change that.
