On behalf of the All Saints' hosts and the rest of the Ship, we welcome you aboard! This is the place to make your presence known, so that we may offer our greetings (and warnings!) to all our new members.
We ask that you make yourself familiar with our version of the "10 Commandments", which are the basic guidelines that you agreed to follow when you registered. You may also want to check the FAQ's for more useful information.
Remember, each area of the Ship has its own rules and regulations, which you will find hyperlinked at the top of each board. They range from Heaven to Hell (literally!), and you'll want to familiarize yourself with them, especially here at the beginning of your "tour of duty".
Once again, welcome to the Ship. We wish you smooth sailing!

Bored to tears with all this talk about New Year.... fed up with prehistoric religious institutions .... wishing that the word "church" could be removed from Christian conversation and practice until we have sorted out what it really means .... praying that we could focus on God and ditch convoluted theology and soul destroying doctrine .... disillusioned with forays into so called "fresh expressions" .... and that's just the tip of the iceberg!
What do I do? .... make a long overdue return to SoF

Hello All!
I hope I am doing this right. But blame Scot (jk) if I'm not.
I was a Shipmate several years ago, but fell out of the fold (metaphors in Mixmaster?) Long, tortuous story semi-short. Was Viola, still Viola, with a period of illness and homelessness thrown in. Back among the living, to continue nattering and playing Greek Chorus. Down side, legally blind, Disabled. Up side, more time to bother you all. Ain't ya lucky!
Anyway, back to the fun and irreverence here. All aboard! Toot! Toot!

Hello all,
I am widbear from Chester, in Northwest England. Very nearly 42 years old and a Christian of varying strengths since 1986. Openly gay male but so macho that I confuse people Very bookish too, and over fond of wrangling with deep, angsty questions that most people have the good sense to ignore.

Hi widbear and, on behalf of the AS Hosting Team welcome to the Ship.
I, too, used to live in Chester back in the dark ages of the late 1970s and early 1980s - but it's warmer where I live now.
Please take sometime to have a look at the 10 Commandments [Ship style] and the FAQs [both linked at the top of every page] and it is also worth checking out the different purpose of each on the separate boards. There are also Private Boards, one of which is for folks of our persuasion, and to which you will be entitled to apply when you reach Shipmate status at 51 posts.
Most of all, enjoy your stay here.

What a small world - I wonder if Chester is like Piccadilly Circus, in that most of the world will pass through here eventually
I wish I could head to a warmer clime myself sometimes, especially today when the howling wind outside makes me feel that I am in some nuclear apocalypse (as imagined in 1970s BBC sci-fi)
I will take a look at all the rules and regulations when I next pass by..

Hi Levin07, and welcome.
I can't help with your search as I live about 8,500 kms away but I am sure that if you ask in a thread here in All Saints, or Ecclesiantics, someone will be able to help - then someone else will have another opinion - and so on. You may end up confused but at least you'll have some info to work from.
Meanwhile can I ask you to spend a little time reading the 10 Commandments and the FAQs and also looking at the different purposes and ethos of the individual boards.
Have fun, I hope you enjoy your time with us.

As I say to everyone please take a little time to peruse the Ship's version of the 10 Commandments and the FAQs [both linked at the top of every page] and it is also useful to read through the different purposes and remits of the several different boards. I see you are interested in wine, perhaps it might be wise to do this reading before indulging!

Me too! My sister was baptised into the RC faith that same year when I was confirmed. Her husband is RC Irish-American: my lovely bride is not.
Thank you for patronizing my little thread. Welcome to the Ship. You might want to think about avoiding hell unless you are really v. angry about something or have a severe personality conflict with a fellow Shipmate. I tend to hang about in Heaven or Circus, though I generally start one moderately successful thread about British matters every year...

Ahoy there Shipmates! Cryptic here asking permission to come aboard!
I have been an occasional/semi-regular lurker here for a while. When I have the chance I enjoy reading the posts on the forum. It has taken me a while to register, I suppose that it is just one of those things that I haven't done, with family, work, church etc I didn't think that I needed any further distractions in my life! Until now...
My real reason for registering now is a bit selfish really - to ask some advice (I feel a bit like the relative that that you never see until there's a free feed going or they need something). I was reading the boards just before Christmas, and spotted this thread about ideas for a Sunday School - I did mean to register and get involved then, and of course with the madness that is pre-Christmas, I didn't, and so I've missed the boat, but have at least tracked the thread down to Oblivion. I'm the co-ordinator of a children's ministry at a city parish, and I'm hoping that there are others on the ship with a similar job - I'm interested in how others do things, and hopefully I can contribute some of my own ideas (which might assuage some guilt about feeling like the blow-in relative...).
Looking forward to some fun times ahead!
Cheers,
Cryptic

Might I suggest that you also spend a little time reading the 10 Commandments and FAQs [linked at the top of every page] and also look at the different ethos and purpose of each of the separate boards.
As for your question re ministry to children I suggest that when you get to know us a little better you start another thread on the subject here in All Saints, possibly referencing the earlier thread.
As you have already obviously discerned our primary purpose here is fun - so go to it!

Hello, Evensong. Noob (and long-time lurker) here. My name is James, and I am yet another vaguely MOTR Anglican. But everyone will regard themselves as vaguely MOTR, so I'll illustrate:
1) my theology is rather liberal, and I do find something dishonest about those who deny what scientists are discovering about creation, and something pharisaic about those who take their favourite bits of the Bible out of their historical context to sustain a preoccupation with sex
2) I thoroughly enjoy torturing those called to holy orders by bringing up awkward bits of the Bible
3) smells and bells are a good thing, of which we really don't get enough
4) the preface to the English Hymnal should be added to the Bible to try to get people to stop inflicting a "miasma of languishing and sentimental hymn tunes" (and awful words) on churches
5) I tend to worship in Welsh (very easy way of avoiding bad modern hymns), and I distinctly prefer the 1984 version of the Lord's Supper to the 2004 one, which comes rather too close to being an extremely literal translation of an English translation that's all too free
6) I am probably wrong about almost everything
So in short, I suspect I'll rather enjoy this place.

Hi James, it's good to have you with us - I rather suspect we'll enjoy your company!
On behalf of the All Saints Hosting Team can I ask you to have a read through both the Ship's version of the 10 Commandments and the FAQs - you will find these linked at the top of every page. It would also be useful if you read through the various headers to the different individual boards to get a feel of their rather different ethos.
But, as I say to everyone, the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the cruise.

Afternoon all,
I noticed a little puzzlement in one post over my registration date and the amount of posts I've written. I'm technicaly a newbie having only posted a few times but registered in 2001. So I thought I'd introduce myself & give a little information.
I registered during a very wobbly period of my faith, spent a few years as a Dawkinsian atheist, started to wonder if I was right & am now slowly moving back to some kind of faith. I thought engaging in some discussion with you fine folk might help that process though I have no real idea what that process is or where it's going!
Cheers

I presume you had a gander at the 10 Commandments and FAQs way back when but it might be worth giving them another look to refresh your memory and in case things have changed - the same with the board headers as they have certainly changed.
I hope you enjoy us on renewed acquaintance.

And my commiserations to Carys. That Severn Sea is wider than it looks (at risk of sounding like Sarah Palin, I can see England from my house). My mind is drawn to that day in 2008 when Weston Pier burnt down, when a broadsheet newspaper reported that smoke was visible "seventy miles away in Cardiff". Of course, smoke doesn't have to use the bridge. Maybe we could organize a whip round for a hovercraft...

Hello. Actually, I've already been nicely welcomed over in Heaven, on the first thread I posted to, which was "Life? I prefer reading. "
I've read the Ten Commandments and guidelines and all, but still somehow missed that we newbies can introduce ourselves here.
Was raised as an English Catholic. Drifted away in teens and college years (the old story). Returned to Christianity, but not Catholicism, as an adult. Was a rather feeble Episcopalian (while living in US) and now (in continental Europe) an even feebler Anglican. But always searching, always interested in religious questions and writings and literature and history.
Some particular interests--but not claiming any expert knowledge at all: first and second century Christianity. Iron Age and Roman Britain. The Tractarians/Oxford movement. Gerard Manley Hopkins. Taizé. Ecumenicalism. Language.
I found the Ship while Googling the Catholic Apostolic Church! There's an old thread on it in Limbo. Pages of discussion of this particular sect and many arcane facts relating thereto...the Ship, I knew then, was the place for me!
I am already spending too much time wandering the many fascinating corridors and cabins...

Hello. I've just joined. I have read the 10 commandments and FAQs, having been born a good cradle RC. (The nuns always stressed perfect obedience). I'm a bit of a church porch catholic, half in half out. The out bit when I get fed up with old men in Rome. But I don't really like church hoppers. Hello Ship! I've loved this place and long lurked here--- finally clambered aboard after years of paddling around. A friend introduced me to the site many years ago, and I think I may even have read a hand-me-down issue of the original magazine when I was in seminary. Church of Fools was a safe and blessed haven for me at a time when I was so ecclesiastically distressed that I could not bring myself to walk into a church building in real life. I'm a hopeful but exasperated Methodist, and I'm fascinated by the challenges and possibilities of online Christian community.

Hi Montorpeg and welcome from me on behalf of the All Saints Hosting Team.
If you haven't already done so please take a few moments to have a read of the 10 Commandments [Ship-style]and FAQs - these are linked at the top of every page. Also worth a peruse are the headers [and links] of each individual board, as they all have different functions on board here.
Most importantly may I enjoin you to have fun whilst you are with us - and I am hoping you won't find that too onerous.

Newbie here. 29 year old woman living currently in Louisville, KY with hopes of studying in the UK starting this fall. I've been a Christian for 11 years this fall. Let's see....what else...um...I married my wife last summer. She trained as a special education teacher and taught for a few years, but is taking some time off now (being married to me is a full-time job, ha!).

As you may have seen I always tell people to have a read through our version of the 10 Commandments and the FAQs [both linked at the top of every page] and also recommend familiarising yourself with the ethos and function of each individual board - they are all quite different.
Most importantly have fun, enjoy yourself - [most of] the rest of do.

Welcome rhflan!
I've been a Christian for eleven years this fall too (my fall).
Hoping to train shortly as a Religious Education teacher and will use The Gospel According to the Simpsons in my classes.

Thanks for the welcome! I've read the FAQ and the 10 Commandments...so I think that I'll know exactly what rules I'm breaking when I break them in the future! hehe
I had no idea that there was a book like that, Evensong! It's definitely on my 'must have' list now Being an RE teacher sounds really cool...I think that if I were going to teach high school age kids I'd like it to be in RE.

I'm married to rhflan. She sent me the link, and I primarily joined to go on the private BDSM forum. Unfortunately there is a rule about needing to post 50 times before I can enter. Since I only joined for that, I'm rather disappointed. I think the rule is pointless and once *again* I'm finding myself unable to be free to discuss something that I can't discuss in real life with most of my friends.
But I might show up from time to time when my wife says there is something interesting going on, so here I am, I'm 28 and like Buddhism and tattoos.

What else would you like to know? I'm CofE born and raised with a little wobble in the middle. I did do part of my degree in Theology but that really didn't help. My brain and my faith seem not altogether connected....hoping to sort that out soon as I will be a 'vicars wife' in a few years and should probably know what I'm talking about before I lead the youth group.....

Welcome to the Ship, Achromat.

Greetings. I was on here a few years ago as 'Dursley Pedersen' (I think), but left under a slight cloud (my fault). Since I can't remember my former password, I've decided to give it another go under a new identity: hope that's all right. The mods may want to delete my former identity, but that's up to them.
Anyway, I'm a 60-years-old postal worker and liberal Anglican, worshipping at an Ecumenical-Partnership church, so I'm also a Baptist and a United Reformist at one remove (though we're now, to all intents and purposes, a straight Anglican congregation). I'm a Green Party member, my politics generally being left of sensible, a member of the local conservation volunteer group, a cyclist both for pleasure and as my only means of personal transport, a fruit and veg. gardener, a pipe-smoker, and a 1st-class B.A. (Hons) Literature (Open).

I have been C of E for most of my life, but have diversified into Baptist, Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster, independant, even took an interest in Mormonism (although they never told me about their magic underwear!)
I was finally received into the (Russian) Orthodox Church last October, but I know I should be thankful for the teaching and nurturing I have been given in my various experiences of Protestantism.
Why did I convert? One word - "Authority" should suffice!
Some people may find my rants annoying at times, so sorry in advance if I do overstep the mark - let's hope I don't end up walking the plank!
God Bless

Hi mstevens and welcome aboard on behalf of the All Saints Hosting Team.
As I say to everyone, and previous Hosts have said since Time Immemorial [or since this site got going, whichever is the longer], please take a little time to have a look at the Ship's version of the 10 Commandments and the FAQs, both linked at the top of every page, and also to peruse the different purpose and ethos of each of the separate boards here.
If you have registered before it is wise to seek out an Admin person and discuss this with them so they can disable the previous account - having more than one functioning account is a bit frowned upon here.

Many thanks Evensong and Welease Woderick.
Evensong, it is a sadly uncommon position! I was in a near-perfect church in Farnborough for a few months (Church of the Good Shepherd) - Eucharist was fortnightly. The lovely female vicar wore alb and stole for it, but no other vestments on her or in the church and a plain white cloth on the communion table. Good music with the right amount of bounce to it. Unfortunately I was only in Farnborough temporarily

Hello all.
Very long-time lurker here - I've been viewing the boards (mostly Purg & Hell) for about 10 years, on and off, but never got around to posting.
In that time, I've made the journey from evangelical Christian to more-or-less atheist, which has come as a bit of a surprise to me.
The name? The pastor at one of my previous churches could not stand quiche and 'banned' it. However it was also a church with a strong 'brand identity' and party line on various issues, which many of us there rubbed up against from time to time - which is where the 'dissent' came in.
I'm happy to be known by the initial letters of my board name ...

Good evening.
I am Cathy, and I am Anglo Catholic. I attend a rather high church, with a very lovely priest.
I have a daughter at university studying History, or rather, at present working through the summer in order to survive the next academic year.
My daughter's dad died last year, hence the relict bit.
I am disabled (of which more some other time) and don't get out much, but when I do I go either to church or to school. I am treasurer at my church, and governor at my school. In my spare time I go to bed and sleep. I do that a lot.
The good side of being unwell is that I have the inestimable privilege of attending Mass every day. The down side is, well, pretty much everything else, tbh.
So, that is me.

As I say to everyone please spend a little time reading the 10 Commandments [Ship's version] and the FAQs - both are linked at the top of every page. I also strongly recommend that you have a look at the different ethos and purpose of each of the separate boards.
Having said that enjoy the journey - I am still excited by the Ship and what it teaches me on a daily basis.

Hello, am I ever so glad to find this place ...
Potential ordinand currently in a chaotic Church with a monstrously ego-centric yet oh-so-charming Vicar ... desperately working out how to act and scupper him before he completely destroys any more members of the congregation... I don't think he even believes in God, talks a good game though
Glad to find somewhere on the interweb to rest my weary soul and now just trying to work out which board best to fish for input on the above situation.

If you haven't done so already please spend some time taking a look at the Ship's version of the 10 Commandments and the FAQs, both linked at the top of every page, and also pursue your researches into the various boards and their different functions and ethos.

Welcome Philaret!
There is a vocations to ordained ministry thread here in All Saints if you feel like joining in (tho it's very quiet these days - used to be much livelier).
And regarding your situation , I'd reckon All Saints would be the correct board for such an issue. Post away and don't worry too much. The hosts move things if they are inappropriate for their own boards.

Hello. I'm a sporadic but long-time lurker on the Ship who finally climbed aboard a few weeks ago. Because of my semi-familiarity with the Ship I hadn't thought to introduce myself here originally. However, by my fifth post I'd been 1-ed & 3-ed in Purgatory for making some nasty, intolerant, homophobic etc etc comment, "in code" Then I got 4-ed and 5-ed when I had the impertinence to defend myself; what a different place the Ship becomes when you climb below deck! Oh and thanks for intervening, mods. *Sigh*
So I thought I'd better come here after all, to let you all know that I'm quite a nice chap really. I'm not going to justify myself by revealing just how very, very wrong the trolls' presuppositions were but I'd like anyone who witnessed the incident to give me the benefit of any doubt.
Thanks, Stick Monitor

My first post... Let's see if this works.
I've been lurking for - ahem - quite some time, but decided to register because there was a poster asking for info about something which I happened to know about and I felt bad just reading and passing by. (I'm a soft-touch, basically!)
I've read the Commandments, but will probably forget them, so please feel free to rap my knuckles if I get anything wrong.
I'm a fairly boring old Anglican. Brought up going to church, drifted away in my teens, returned recently (in my 40s) following a good experience of an Episcopal church in the US (during a short visit). Worship at my local cathedral as my local church is a bit too evangelical for me (and I'm a bit allergic to bands and to the use of powerpoint and to smiley faces on service sheets). I have two daughters, one of whom comes to church with me and one of whom doesn't. I'm married to a fairly vehement atheist. I'd like to be a bit more involved in church-y things, but between work (I'm an academic), family, and disapproving husband, that's proving a bit of a challenge.
I also tend to verbosity (did I mention that I'm an academic?), so will shut up now and answer that post that I saw that made me sign up in the first place.

Hello everyone
I’ve been a churchwarden for a few years. Today I repaired a bit of the organ that fell off during the last service. I have no idea what it does but I tied it back on with a bit of string. I believe that it may have something to do with the air pressure from the electric blower, a theory that will be tested on Sunday by our unwitting organist. Fortunately the organ is tucked away behind a big stone pier in the chancel so if it blows up or does anything else untoward the congregation will be safe – as there’s only a handful of them left I have to get my priorities right.
I think I’m going to enjoy it here – lovely to meet you all.

Hello all. I'm a Catholic convert as of Easter Vigil 2007, coming from a wide Protestant background of indeterminate origin. I currently live in the American Southeast, where anything that holds still long enough to be captured by a short-order cook will be deep fried (chicken, Oreo cookies, Twinkies, candy bars, sticks of butter, and apparently slow-moving Catholics).
I am the pianist at our parish's Saturday evening Mass. Counting myself, we have a core ensemble of nine singers and musicians - one drummer, one bassist, two acoustic guitarists, one pianist, one fiddler, and three vocalists (plus three of us instrumentalists also sing).
This looks like a fun place!

Yes, it helps make our eventual martyrdom (or martyr complex, at any rate) a little more palatable. Plus, it gives us that crunchy golden coating that you just can't get even when you lie out in the sun.

Hi, littlemiss.
In addition to what Kelly said, I'd also read the the explanation of the purpose of each board at the top of each board. Then sample a few threads on that board to get an idea how it plays out in action. But the short answer is that we talk a lot. And on each board we talk about different things in different styles. Like here in All Saints we talk and pray about real life situations. We try to be supportive and helpful. And here we may arrange times and places to get together in Real Life if we like.
So start reading. Have fun and start posting. One caveat- I'd recommend waiting a bit before posting anything substantive in Hell. It can be rather bare knuckles and tends to trip newbies up. People don't act entirely helpful and supportive there. People who are absolutely civil and respectful in other parts of the Ship might be cussing a blue streak there.

I'm Anglo-Catholic, originally from Yorkshire. I'm especially devoted to Our Blessed Lady. My interests are the art, culture, life, faith, everything to do with the Middle Ages, so from a clerical perspective the old English Uses (Sarum, York and Hereford, especially Sarum) both from a scholarly perspective and as a liturgy, which I believe, should be revived, properly, not '1662 Book of Common Prayer with Sarum trimmings' ( although I'm fond of it, the sole reason for it, in my opinion, is gone as the anti-Ritualist laws are gone) in the Church of England.
I'm quite a traditionalist - I oppose the ordination of women to any order, so-called marriage for homosexuals, 'political correctness', modern theology et al. I used to vote Tory. I don't know what now.
Simply, I believe , , quod semper quod ubique quod ab omnibus .
On a lighter note, I like good, proper, English food, cream teas, the Gothic Revival and, oddly for a traditionalist, proper Gothic [and conical and generally Medieval] chasubles [NOT the polyester bags] rather than those ugly little aprons, as Percy put it!

As to yoga, haven't seen much of it here. If you're keen on starting a general interest/support and conversation thread the All Saints thread is probably your best bet. In terms of Christian spirituality - well - that's all over the board.

Sanity is in pretty short supply around here but if you find any do feel free to snack on it, I doubt anyone will notice - I presume you have already denuded the H&As boards of any that was lurking in a corner there.
Please make sure you are familiar with the Ship's version of the 10 Commandments - yes, I know you pre-date Moses but just bear with me, right? You might also find it instructive to read the FAQs and to familiarise yourself with different purpose and ethos of each of the separate boards, this might tell you the best lurking areas for searching for sanity.
Enjoy.

Welcome back, deusluxmea.
Don't be afraid; we don't bite- much. Apprentices are treated pretty gently. Unless they show seriously jerkish tendencies. And I don't get the impression that you need worry.
After having reviewed the Ship Ten Commandments and FAQs, I suggest you post freely in All Saints, Heaven, and the Circus for a while and continue reading the other boards to get the feel of the Ship. Ask Ship business questions in the Styx. In Purg, Kerygmania, Ecclesiantics, and Dead Horses questions are a good way to get your toes wet in posting. Despite having members who can argue rings around many of the rest of us, you don't have to be in the top fifth percentile to enjoy yourself here. And finally for Hell, posting a short rant on the "Today I consign to Hell (TICTH)" thread won't likely get you reamed by the Denizens.

I think the exchange of views thing over a very wide range is part of what makes the Ship so special.
When you signed up you agreed to be bound by the Ship's version of the 10 Commandments so please have a read through them and through the FAQs [both linked at the top of every page]. It will also stand you in good stead if you also have a look at the different function and ethos of each of the separate boards.
But more than anything else join in and have fun!

Welcome Quinquireme. Sounds like you've had a colorful past and are looking to an even more colorful future.
We have a vocations thread here although it doesn't get a great deal of traffic at the moment.
As to yoga, haven't seen much of it here. If you're keen on starting a general interest/support and conversation thread the All Saints thread is probably your best bet. In terms of Christian spirituality - well - that's all over the board.
Thanks I might just start something on yoga; my question concerned "yogaandChristanspirituality" not 2 separate topics. Also rather surprised there's not more about Green issues; there was a bit of rather faint-hearted publicity in the Church of England a couple of years ago called "Caring for God's World" which didn't sem to last long!

Sounds good. We could use members who bring new discussions to the table. I can see some good exchanges coming out of those subjects just for a start.
Erm. We have a rather quaint, old board program here and it takes a bit of practice to get the quoting and linking functions right. We have a thread in the Styx called "UBB Practice" where you can practice and ask questions about this system. Don't worry, even old hands sometimes get get tangled in quote bird nests here.

welcome from a yogini of ... 16? years or so. It's been discussed in depth a few times. the subject sort of passes through. Same with environmental issues. Don't let that hinder you, though - no problem bringing up topics again. I'm happy to engage on either topic.

Hello, it was suggested I introduce myself briefly here.
I am glad to be here and looking forward to exploring the site, which seems very extensive.
I have long had faith, but also many ups & downs, with it, and even more so with inst religion and its bodies. RL encounters with religion in person, more complicated & mixed than in my own thoughts & imagination, and on line.
I enjoy music a lot and get a lot out of it; also reading.
I have a visual impairment but computer soft ware mainly makes that less of a thing on line, for me.
I think i have used up my given space now so will leave it there. Thanks

Erm...
Hello! I'm one of those really strange people, a person of the shadows, who has followed with interest this site for many years, but never on a regular basis... I guess I was stalking...
Anyhow, hello, I never know what to say here so a few words about me...
If anyone has read Bishop Holloway's chapter in Living Tradition I acknowledge a scary similarity to his description of the Master of Ceremonies there...
I'm a happy incomer to Wales (though in the main keep my liberal-Conservative political affiliation and membership card quiet), though my little corner lacks bells, smells, pomp, ceremony and a set of theological beliefs that fit my own, so I have to creep around in the evenings swinging a thurible whilst I do my sacristan duties... it's like being an addict I guess, though I've made some legitemate changes such as having a sanctuary lamp near the reserved Sacrament... I'm also in a state of cold war with the Mothers Union, which I can imagine many sacristans find themselves in...
As many on here seem to have, I have spent time in Chester recently...
And now I'm running out of things to say... I'm sure you will find out about me as we bump along next to each other... if you're really interested I'll go through 101 questions...
Pax.

Welcome on board, Sergius-Melli.
I rather like the idea of creeping round Wales with a thurible.
If you've been lurking for a bit, you'll hardly need reminding that the Boards have their several remits, as set forth in the rubrics thereof. And you may even detect a whiff of incense on some of them (as well as a whiff of the incensed on others).
Enjoy!

Hi there!
First of all, English is not my mother tongue for I'm from germany, please be patient when my sentences now or then may read a bit of clumsy or have some really really weird spelling errors in them...
I'd like to introduce me... I was raised roman catholic, got frustrated about some things going on in the rc church as soon as I really started to get informed, and subsequently dropped out.
Now, since a time I got interested in christianity as religion (as my childhood education only brought me the cultural side...), as a spiritual system, started to read the bible (again), and now I'm, I think, a kind of agnostic seeker heading towards christian beliefs. But... I don't really know... I pray, I think about joining a church again... but... I can't say...
Anyway... nice to meet you all and nice to be a part of the ship of fools! I'm looking forward some interesting discussions and reads.
