On behalf of the All Saints' hosts and the rest of the Ship, we welcome you aboard! This is the place to make your presence known, so that we may offer our greetings and advice to all our new members.
We ask that you make yourself familiar with our version of the "10 Commandments", which are the basic guidelines that you agreed to follow when you registered. You may also want to check the FAQ's for more useful information.
Remember, each area of the Ship has its own rules and regulations, which you will find hyperlinked at the top of each board. They range from Heaven to Hell (literally!), and you'll want to familiarize yourself with them, especially here at the beginning of your "tour of duty".
Once again, welcome to the Ship. We wish you smooth sailing!

Hello, I'm fresh off the boat. (Curtseys and tosses bonbons.) Apart from a few years of attending Quaker meeting, I'm a longtime Anglican, although I'm going to a Presbyterian church these days. Is that even allowed?
Pleased to meet you all and happy new year.

Welcome Hail Mary. I'm also a long time Anglican attending a Presbytarian church. I remember when I made the switch the Principal of the Catholic school where I volunteer was a bit dubious that I would be 'allowed' to do this.
I hope you enjoy the Ship.

Yes i am but I don't use it as many do. I rarely enter finished objects and there are no pictures of my stash. I belong to a few groups but am really active on only one. I search for patterns there. What a time sink!
Haven't done much lately as fingers have been very sore from arthritis.

Hi, not a true Noob but returning to this wonderful ramshackle old tub after some time away. Was a lurker and (very) occasional poster for several years. I'm a lifelong Anglican, in a leadership role in a large-ish high-ish church, increasingly unsure what I actually believe, finding people who are sure increasingly scarey.

If you previously posted here, even if sparingly, I recommend that you check in with an Admin to sort things out so you won't inadvertently have two user accounts. That's rather frowned upon. (Sorry if I'm junior hosting, AS hosts. )
Anyway, welcome back and happy sailing! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Thanks for the welcome everyone, I glad to great some unity.. I have missed the ship, I have great memories of housing a travelling meet at my old house, & receiving a glitter bomb from Erin. The greatest shock of all was when I discovered I had known Gambit IRL & had looked after him when he was younger.
It is good to be posting as opposed to reading. I found there is either total involvement in the ship or passive non-involvement. I might try & find a half way point.

Hello everyone! I've lurked for a long time and found different threads interesting, challenging, annoying and fun, so thought it only fair to join up I've been trying to be, or run away from being, a Christian for too many years . My basic journey has been Unitarian to Methodist to Charismatic/Restoration to CofE and currently questioning why I'm bothering at all That's why I love reading the Ship!

I'm not new but had a long break from the ship. I actually met my husband on the ship 12 years ago. We now have a beautiful daughter (9) who has a disability fragile X syndrome. I really want to be more engaged with the ship. I hope it's ok to post who I am here for those who don't know me. I'm high Anglican but illness of late is meaning many church activities are missed.
