I've only seen one so far. Work just spoils the fun of hunting haggis, doesn't it? ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

I think the Great Haggis is telling me to go to Inverness, because that is the only place I am seeing him.

It looks snowy in Inverurie, NEQ!
I spotted one on Oxford Street, looking like he was about to board a bus.

There's one at Kyleakin! Yay! That's two for me so far this year.
It would be nice to see these places in daylight. Loch Ness and Eilean Donan Castle are completely dark.

In previous years they have had a spotlight on Eilean Donan Castle. I'm disappointed they don't have it this year.

Yes to Oxford Street. Those pictures change. You can put your name up by posting a photo on FaceBook should you want. But the whole thing is pretty hideous - well the Marmite lights are. The stars are fine and the umbrellas and dice are just bizarre. The shops are amazing

The webcams showed the snow coming down overnight at Loch Lomond, blur of big white splodges. Inverurie was there yesterday morning.

I'm finding it interesting how much more daylight Linlithgow is getting, compared to Inverurie. It's 8.50am here and still not full daylight. Even Stonehaven, only 30 miles south is noticeably lighter. And I can confirm (glances out of window) that the Inverurie webcam is accurately relaying the tone of the sky.

Yes, I've had that happen a few times; I think it's being affected by Nessie's "invisibility" forcefield. Every time Nessie comes out to graze, she freezes the thumbnail and stops the webcam from working. [ 03. December 2012, 08:19: Message edited by: North East Quine ]

mm - I can tell you that the Oxford Street sky is pretty accurate here about 20 miles away.
It does look as if one of the Loch Lomond cams is down - it's not all the time, just one view.

I'd noticed the problem with the Loch Ness cam too. And the changes in light across the region is interesting, not something you'd normally consider. It's looking very chilly in Loch Lomond ths morning.

Was it green because of the green screen that sometimes shows over the camera?
All is quiet at the moment. Very dark and not a haggis about. I continue to be disappointed that Eilean Donan Castle is not lit at night. ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
