For Meg the Red’s D to be comforted in her loss.

For Mr Lamb and the family he’s caring for.

For balaam’s youngest daughter, her husband, and mr and mrs balaam.

For upholding for Churchy LaFemme.

For relief of anxiety for me and the Telemum.

For bannination of the Finance Monster, who is biting right now.

For some ideal person to adopt Rover the Non-Wonder cat, whose needs are incompatible with those of Visiting Cat.

For funding for my job/PhD for the next three years to be sorted out super fast.

For M. and her family.

For LM and her mother, for safety and kindness.

Praying for all here [Votive]

and giving thanks that I'm having a much better Christmas than I expected.

Had a lovely Boxing Day walk today with absolutely no back pain [Yipee] Now just need to get rid of the almost continuous headaches I'm getting. [Waterworks] Prayer for that would be much appreciated.

For my friend J, too far away for me to be able to see as often as I'd like and without friends where she lives.

In the depths at the moment: her church 'friends' are just that - people she sees at church who don't contact from one week to the next.

I'm amazed her PP can see how profoundly sad and lonely she is.

We had a family funeral last week, when the temperature was around freezing. The church was cold and the graveside colder. Since then my mother, my uncle and two of Mum's cousins have come down with bad colds / chest infections / pneumonia sufficiently severe to have warranted home visits from their respective doctors. Today I heard of another two sick relatives; there may be more as there were about 20 octogenarians at the funeral. Prayers would be appreciated.

[Votive] Praying through, for all, by name.

[Votive] For the Lambs

[Votive] for cats

It was a good Christmas in that the Pater was (and is - he heads home in the morning) here; it was a bad Christmas in that my children punished me for not inviting my ex-husband to Christmas dinner with small calculated cruelties. The radiation treatments have also caught up with me. I'm nearing their end, though. Thank you, all who are praying with me. It makes a difference.

Holding us all in the living, loving Light - especially today my friend John who has had to give up the job he loved in Italy and return here as his [arthritic?] knees just were not able to sustain the work. I am off to see him today but am sure he could do with some prayer and upholding.

As an update, my niece's condition has stabilized. The contractions are spreading out and dilation has stopped, so it looks like they have managed to buy the baby a little extra time to develop in mommy before he/she comes into this world. Still praying.
