My friend Fiona has yet another agressive GBM (brain tumour) and has had yet more surgery. She is the mother of two young boys and is struggling to prepare them for life without her. I don't think she will live much longer although she is fighting on. Pray for her and her loving family.

Praying for all the stated requests and those too painful to articulate.

My housemate's family is coming to Australia on the 5th of Feb and staying with us until they find their own place. However the landlord says they may only stay a month, which given the size of our place is appropriate. They will receive government assistance for their own place, but I found out a couple of days ago that their case manager has families who have been on a waiting list to find a place for months.

The only other option than our place while they wait is in a crime and drug ridden housing estate which we want to avoid if at all possible. (Though I feel conflicted about as I do volunteer work with lots of families in this situation and can't help them out of there to a better home).

The case manager says if we help her find the place it will be a shorter wait, however my housemate wants her family to stay in this area. There are houses in their price range, but red tape insists the house needs two bathrooms and nearly all houses in their price range only have one. Please pray we can work around this and that they are allowed a place with one bathroom. There are only five of them, so I don't see why it is illegal. They will be enrolled in school and English courses locally so it is important for them to stay in the area if at all possible.

Most importantly please pray that they find a place within the month or that they find another temporary place to stay or that our landlord lets them stay a bit longer here if necessary.

Finally please pray for my anxiety over all this as it's going through the roof and making me feel depressed and very negative. I feel like I'm the only one worried about what happens in a month if they haven't found a place. There are some other relatives here, but my housemate had a falling out with them, and though reconciled they are coming back from an overseas holiday today and don't know their relatives are about to arrive, plus have four kids of their own.

That I might have sufficient control over myself, and my schedule, to be here a bit more regularly.

For bib’s Fiona, for healing.

For Carys.

For Rossweisse, for healing.

For Joelle to change her mind.

For duchess.

For M to get his act together about the photos.

For saysay, for those people to go away and stop causing her distress. Peace be upon them. saysay - if you pray “peace be upon them” when you enter their space, then if they have peaceable intent it will be realized, and if they have ill intent it will turn back on them like a boomerang.

For Mili and guests, for housing, stability and peace of mind.

For Starbug’s uncle D and his wife P, for healing.

For ThunderBunk.

For To The Pain’s B and A.

For the soul of the lady in WW’s village.

For M., facing the loss of her mother.

I am trying to pull a colossal amount of funding together (3 years’ salary plus project costs for me) in a too-short amount of time, with no experience, and Boss is on sabbatical so I don’t think I’ll get a whole lot of help. I am really into this project, so, please… otherwise it’s back to the pain-in-the-ass jobhunting prayers again.

For S. and P., who also need employment and/or funding.

Rover the Non-Wonder Cat is in the house! However… he can’t use the catflap because his uncle guards it and tries to murder him whenever he gets near it. He needs to get integrated enough with the other cats so that he can let himself in and out.

Travelling and public speaking mercies for me tomorrow, please, kthx.

Uncle D is still sedated. Further tests have revealed a spinal injury and possible brain damage. The doctors aren't sure if he'll wake up or, if he does, what functions he will have. Auntie P has cancer and is preparing to have an operation tomorrow. Plus, one of their (grown up) grandchildren had a bike accident earlier this week: fortunately, only the bike was damaged. Lord, please protect them and bring your healing light. [Votive]

My father has his next routine blood test tomorrow. Please pray that it shows that the cancer has gone into remission so that he can stop the chemotherapy. The chemo is doing its job perfectly, and steadily reducing the cancer, but Dad has side-effects and is vulnerable to infections etc. He really needs to be in remission and off the chemo so that he can start to get better.

Sometimes I think that if the cancer doesn't kill him, at this rate the chemo will. [Tear]

Also giving thanks for the NHS.

Uncle has come off the sedation and doctors are waiting to see if/when he will wake up. Auntie has to go to another hospital this morning for her op and is very upset about leaving him. Please also pray for their son, R, who now has to deal with having two parents in hospitals in different parts of London.

It looks like my grandmother in law, M, is at the last stages of dementia. We lost her in most senses of the word about 8 years ago.

Please pray that the ending comes peacefully, and comfort for her only child, my mother in law.
