A. The sig won't show up if you're not logged in (you can log in as you post, but for some reason that removes your sig).
B. There's an entry in the FAQs (currently not available) about the logged in but not logged in thing. The standard things to check for are:
- Make sure you use "forum.ship-of-fools.com" NOT "forum.shipoffools.com"
- Have cookies enabled
- Put the Ship in the list of trusted sites in your browser security settings
- Make sure your date and time are correct on your computer

I've just played around with the quicklink stuff on Oremus. It looks like it needs a ? in the URL that is absent in what I quoted above (just before the 'ql'); http://bible.oremus.org/?ql=17878099 goes to John 21.
I'm not sure how it disappeared if you simply copied and pasted the link.

Thank you, Alan. I see that I AM (no O.T. too-big-for-my-britches reference) logged in now, magically. Many times I don't log in until I have something to post. Thanks for the quick help! Pearl
