I ask your prayers for a teenaged girl at my church, L, who was planning on harming herself, but thank God, told a friend. She is now out of a week's hospitalization and on an out-patient program. She's doing well, but I'm still shaken by what a close call it was for this lovely, gifted girl with a great big heart. Prayers please for L's continued recovery, but also for all who find themselves in despair.

I would again be grateful for prayers for the boyfriend/manfriend/partner of one of my cousins. I had asked for prayers for them only a few months back, at the end of January, when he had a heart attack. He seemed to have overcome this amazingly quickly, but today needs being checked for a tumor of some sort or other.
Thank you for thinking of my cousin and her partner. This must be extremely worrying for them, and we hope and pray for a good outcome.
for all

Please pray for C , who, as a freelancer, works really hard. He doesn't have the best work/life balance, and this affects his relationships.
He clearly would love to be with someone, but he needs to work on what feeds his heart, what frees him, and what is a prop to ego.
Lord, I ask that his life be enriched with peace and love, as well as with the work he loves. ![[Votive]](graemlins/votive.gif) [ 18. April 2016, 09:29: Message edited by: Mad Cat ]

Thank you so much for your prayers for me and my mum. Things not sorted but looking up.
And looks like the company I moved to only a couple of months ago might go balls up...I don't want to whine but this a v scary prospect...being unemployed would be bad financially of course but even more damaging for my mental health. Trying to trust things will be ok while looking for alternatives.
Praying for all here by name, for the lurkers and those affected by the earthquakes.

Reading through and praying for all here.
I have a job interview this week (Thursday) and would appreciate prayers for my preparation (especially today, as I prepare my presentation) and for the actual interview itself. Thank you.

Heavy duty, super-reinforced prayers needed for my foster-sister K. She had surgery 2 weeks ago to remove a seemingly-benign tumor on her adrenal gland. The pathology department didn't like the look of it and sent it across town to the World Famous Medical School, and they've determined that her breast cancer of 6 years ago has metastasized. I'm taking her for a PET scan on Friday. It doesn't sound good. My sister has been here for the past three weeks, but had to return home yesterday. K. has almost no one to help out. I'll be there tomorrow, too. My heart is breaking. - Anne L.

Praying a lot.
Remembering C before the Lord, and Ma and Pa Mad Cat.
Also, regarding the thing, Lord, let him not be that kind of person, please? Let there be light, and freedom and consolation and healing and friendship.
I am a bit beset by voices of despair, but I hope.
(PS. sorry to be cryptic....)

More news from my S. He's still unable to walk and has problems with his shoulders and arms. He's lost weight to about 140 lbs, this for a man 6'3". And he has a pressure sore on the base of his spine that's being slow to heal. His mental condition isn't too great either. Please pray for him and his wife B and family.
Prayers for all here. ![[Votive]](graemlins/votive.gif)

Thanks be to God, disabled teenager K's back operation went well. She is likely to make a good recovery, and will not be too restricted in her movements.
Meanwhile, please pray that next week's threatened strike action by junior doctors in the UK will not result in my brain tumour operation being postponed yet again........
for all undergoing or awaiting treatment or test results.

Just seen this on the news tonight. A total shock, so desperately sad. She was a lovely lady and so talented. Taken from us far too soon.

Praying for everyone on this thread.
Also, I have spent 2016 watching everyone be shocked that 2016 seems to be the leading cause of death to anyone of outstanding talent in our culture. But I just came on here to pray and now I find out about Victoria Wood and I'm incredibly shaken.
Anyway... I really need to finish the thing tomorrow. Every time I sit down to do it something happens. Really, no joking. Tomorrow. If I don't finish it I'm going to look stupid.
