There's a marriage break-up in my family and things are getting financially messy. I missed a phone call from my brother, but left a text message.

I hate that there's nothing I can do, short of winning lotto.

DIL who hurt her ankle on holidays three weeks ago is to have ankle reconstruction tomorrow. An MRI revealed two of three tendons had snapped and detached from anchorage points. Top surgeon who developed techniques and who also did two of son's three reconstructions is doing the op. More pain, but pain hopefully leading to healing. Another three months off work

Praying for Piglet's father and for Piglet and all the family.

For all who are approaching death and all who know that bereavement soon awaits them.

For all who have to have or have had surgery on tendons, ligaments, knees, hips and other parts (including a 12 year old boy, B, recovering from hip surgery).

For all intentions posted here and for those known only to God.

So many needs, so much sadness and difficulty. It all puts my minor worries into perspective.

Praying for all here, particularly Piglet and family. [Votive]

Please could you also pray for my friend I. who is a full time carer for his elderly mother. Mum has been deteriorating slowly for some time but I. texted me today to say he is very worried as her condition has suddenly worsened.

I come bearing news and a request for prayer for our own Uncle Pete. Some of you may know that he was taken into hospital with pneumonia. He is still in hospital but they have now diagnosed colonic cancer. He is due laparoscopic surgery on Saturday in the hope that no further intervention will be necessary.
He has family living locally and supporting him in hospital.

Please remember him in your prayers.

Miss you, Erin.

E1 is home, resting comfortably. Thank you for the prayers and good wishes. We still don’t know the “why” of the pancreatitis, but it led to an avalanche of scary and dangerous things, and almost a week in the hospital.

Prayers for all, especially for those who deal with health uncertainty/potential crisis every day.
