In the hospital right now as Thing Have Gotten Worse. Nothing by mouth for...well, till the surgery, which could be tomorrow or the next day or ? Nobody's saying. And unless the insurance behaves in a spectacularly unbureaucratic way, it'll be TWO surgeries rather than one, as half of the procedure isn't okayed by them yet-- which mens waiting to do thatbit till it is. Double your money, double your risk... Dear God help.

Thank you. Got a quick answer, though it' s not what I wanted. Surgery tomorrow so i expect that means two. Meh. On the positive side, my boss can't stick me with the latest convention resolutions. So there's a bright spot.

Please pray for D, my mum's dearest friend, who is dying. Maybe tomorrow, maybe a week's time, but my mum is being torn apart, and will be devastated by D's death, so upholding for her and others close to D, would be good.
I'm not in great shape myself, having known D for the last 29 years.

For Geoff who has to go to the hospital today for an investigation into suspected prostate cancer. And for his wife, an old and very good friend.
For H, who is struggling with depression, unemployment and a lot of muscle pains and stiffness that the doctors haven't been able to treat so far. He has lost heart to apply for jobs, is unable to go for his favourite walks without pain, and his wife is worried about him.
For all those trying to come to terms with disappointment and those who are struggling with, or have not been able to fend off the steamroller of depression.

Skype interview cancelled because I've already worked for the company - though I still don't know if I've got the job. The other went reasonably well, and I don't think I made a complete pig's ear of it, so I shall just wait & see. It depends too if the work they're offering fits into the days I've got free...
Thanks for the prayers, and prayers for all those mentioned here, LambChopped especially, but everybody too. God bless.

Will you please hold LK in your prayers as she is at the end of this life? Praying for a peaceful journey for her and for joy to overcome the sorrow of those who will miss her. She is 94, a long life, well lived. It's time to rest.

Plee pray for Justin - had a pacemaker fitted a few months ago and still hasn't been well - the doctors have now found that the pacing wire has come adrift and so his heart isn't being paced. He's waiting to be transfered to another hospital for another operation, but he and his family are worried he might have a heart attack before the problem can be rectified.

Your prayers would be appreciated as I spend a trial day in a school tomorrow. I want to make a good impression and gather the information I need to inform a trial teaching session which might ultimately lead to a new job. If it's where God wants me, I pray that I will know that clearly and that if it's not to be, that I will cope with disappointment and maintain momentum in my job hunting.
Prayer too, please, for the colleagues I leave behind (having given in my notice regardless) in a place which is in a state of flux and where morale is low.

For healing for daisymay's M.
For Lamb Chopped, for hassle-free healing.
For jedijudy's LK, for a safe journey home and for those she leaves behind to be comforted.
For St. Gwladys' Justin, for healing.
For big success for Smudgie tomorrow. For the colleagues she leaves behind.

For comet, for justice to be done.
Customer put me through a gruelling 3-hour code review. They are very happy. They say that after I do a bit more I can demo it in New York. I have busted out my copies of Shopaholic Takes Manhattan and The Saturdays by way of preliminary research.
