The S I asked for prayers for above is doing better, but I would ask for continuing prayers that he may follow through and get the professional help he needs.

Reading through and praying for all here
I have just stopped taking (with my doctor's agreement) the anti-depressants I have been taking for the past six months. I can honestly say I am feeling better than I've felt for a long time. Please pray that I don't start going backwards again. Thank you

I found the effects of anti-depressants so awful that getting off them after 6 months was a great relief, and lifted me far more than the pills had done.
Although, the bad experience of them probably prevented me talking properly with the doc at times when it might have been wise to, just in case he wrote out another prescription for the vile things.

My ADD, combined with my pathetic weakness of will, is seriously screwing with me and I'm sick of it.
I'm tired of being so fed up with myself all the time.

Thank you to all who prayed for my Dad - he got the good news yesterday that his cancer is now undetectable, and the chemotherapy has come to an end! He still has minor surgery to go, once the blood-thinning medication is out of his system, plus ongoing calcium treatment to support his bones, but the cancer is undetectable
Also giving thanks for the doctors and nurses who have treated him and the NHS!
And for Telepath, and her prayer ministry on this thread.

A commemoration this morning of an elderly man from the village who died this week and was father/grandfather of quite a little clan - he was a good guy.
