I have been sick several times and I still feel sick and still have it happening - yes I was in the hospital and they gave me this but now it makes me awful and now pain.

Beloved Goddaughter is, once again, cutting off her nose to spite her face. She has an opportunity to have a treat, but has decided she doesn't want the achievable treat, but wants an unachievable treat instead. The end result will be no treat at all, at which point she is going to be very unhappy.
Please pray that she starts choosing happiness over unhappiness very soon.

The schoolkids had their exams some time ago, now is the time for the university exams so upholding, please, for all of those particularly A, who doesn't cope well with exams at the best of times and now facing his finals after a pretty tough 4 years.

We are making the long trip back to the eye hospital tomorrow for a further appointment with R's surgeon. There have been tiny glimmers of hope since last week's bleak diagnosis. Please pray that these hopes are real, that some improvement in his sight is still possible and that we can both remain calm and patient in the face of such uncertainty.

Just heard that my cousin is in a coma and has been in ICU for the last two days. Not sure what the precipitating incident was. Apparently he is breathing on his own as of a couple of hours ago. Please pray for his recovery.

Thank you for your prayers today. R's surgeon actually used the words 'cautiously optimistic' when describing the chances of some sight returning to the damaged eye. We have to go back for a further check in a week's time. We live in hope.

I'm having another wobbly time with regards to my PTSD. Some of you will remember the crap that went down with our old parish ten years ago. Yep, someone's trying to resurrect that whole mess again, and the American pastors at our host congregation have demanded to know if there's any truth to it. Again.
Sometimes I wonder why they bothered to call us in the first place if they weren't satisfied with our honesty.
Please pray that God's will be done, and that we not get dragged under by fear and anger.

I have not heard anything about Cousin I today. I’m really anxious and waiting for some good news. It is really awful, he’s younger than me, has a two-year-old, collapsed at home and was in a medically induced coma but hadn’t regained consciousness last I heard. If I’m worrying this much at this distance I can only imagine how his wife, his sister and my first cousin (his mother) are feeling. I JUST WANT IT ALL TO BE OVER AND HIM TO BE OKAY.
