Grateful for prayers for a bad situation in a church I know of (not the one I go to). For wisdom and forbearance for all involved

Thanks.

and particularly for Smudgelet [Votive]

(It might be worth trying Bach Flower Rescue Remedy if he has to do this again. It has got quite a few people I know through exams, driving tests and the rest that they were perfectly capable of passing, but were held back by nerves, including me through my driving test.)

[Votive] for all in need

Request for prayer - I need a job. The only possibilities coming up are things I don't want to do, and think would be bad for me, but it's hard to pass them by when there are no other possibilities around.

[Votive] for all who need prayers.

RA, is it possible that any of the jobs that you could get but don't really want would tide you over for a wee while?

I don't mean that you should take something that's going to make you either ill or miserable, but as the old cliché goes, it's always easier to find a job when you're already in one.

Just received an email from my cousin to say that our much-loved aunt (96) died on Friday.

I haven't seen her for years. I knew she was elderly. I didn't know how to say goodbye, and couldn't bring myself to, so like a wimp, I put this off, and off, indefinitely.

In some ways it's better to remember her as she used to be - the strong, kind, generous personality with a perfect memory who was always there for me, rather than as she became in extreme old age.

Please pray for the repose of her soul and also for my uncle, who will miss her terribly. They knew each other since they first met in the 1920s, and subsequently had a long and very happy marriage. Uncle is unlikely to last long without her.

For Nicolemr’s S, for healing.

For Japes’ K.

For healing for ExclamationMark.

For the return of Kelly Alves’ cellphone.

For Mad Cat’s V and S and baby Vaila. For E and her new husband I. And how about some of that for the rest of us.

For St Gwladys’ Ros and Howard, and their three sons, in particular for Dave to arrive in time.

For the kids and teachers at the start of the new school year chez Woderwick.

For Lucia’s E and all who mourn her, especially J, and S and W.

For Mamacita’s Patsy, Miepje and John.

For success for the Smudgelet.

For the bad situation for the church known to M., for wisdom and forbearance.

For Ethne Alba’s B, and for that sort of thing not to happen again.

For a great job for Robert Armin.

For QLib’s D, and all who care about him.

For Ariel’s aunt, for the repose of her soul and for comfort for her uncle.

For G., and the safe return of her son S., and for this not to happen again.

For N.

There is a funding crisis for a particular thing. It is bad for a lot of people besides just me. Please let it be turned around. And let me also be able to do the thing.

For success of my project at work.

Please pray for me. I'm frightened. The repeat blood test was apparently ok but the pain/discomfort won't go away. it's more discomfort than pain if i'm honest but it's so strange and the doctor doesn't seem to understand my long term medical condition.
I don't know what to do, there's no-one i can talk to.

Abigail, the important thing is that they have checked for the Big Scary thing, and haven't found anything. So it is something - an allergy, an intolerance, an infection - and someone, somewhere, in some unglamorous specialism of the medical profession, will recognise. So ask to be referred to another clinic.

And while dietary advice can be faddish, sometimes it doesn't hurt to look at what and how you eat and see if there are patterns.

My errant staff member has resigned! I can't express the relief of not having to go through yet another disciplinary procedure. He is being paid in lieu of notice, so he doesn't have to come into work again, which will put the rest of the team under strain for a while - but, it does mean that I can start the recruitment process now.Hooray! Thank You, Lord, and thanks to all those who prayed. And please help him to find employment in a field that's more suited to his temperament.
