Bollocks. You're a great mother, daughter, girlfriend, shipmate and a lot more besides. No one said this was easy so don't take it on yourself. Certainly not the evilspeak going the rounds, even/especially if it's just words in your own head.

[Votive] comet and friends. Yah, boo, sux to her enemies.

For Abigail, for continued healing.

For ChastMastr, for healing and magnificent self-discipline, and for healing for Cubby.

For comet to be comforted and supported and know she is at her best.

For Heavenly Anarchist, for healing and success.

For Lamb Chopped and Mr Lamb.

For Starbug, and maybe I'm teaching my grandmother to suck eggs here but maybe you should consult an employment lawyer? (If you are an employment lawyer, consult another one?) Because if they're reducing your hours and not your duties I am wondering if they're trying to get rid of you.

For Taliesin's J, Lord have mercy.

For Zoey, for healing and resolution of difficulties.

For M. and her family.

For my paper to be published. Also, I am on annual leave but because of the unexpected supervisions will need to do a hell of a lot of reading while I'm away. For it not to take too long - working on vacation is really crossing a line.

For M.

For the Telemum.

Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. [Votive]

I had a chat with our HR rep yesterday, who advised going back to my GP's surgery for a second opinion, as she felt I may have been sent back to work too soon. Managed to get an appointment in the afternoon with a another doctor and it turns out she was right. I've been signed off for another two weeks and prescribed some anti-depressants. Thank you all for your prayers, I do appreciate them.

Prayers for stamina please. I'm in Oxford with Mr Bee for a day of hospital appointments.
I'm already very tired after a couple of days travelling long distances in nasty weather to enjoy myself singing!
And prayers for Mr Bee too, obvs. [Votive]

As suspected cancer has revisited my head of department, and he'd only been in the post two weeks. He had been clear for just over five years, collapsed at home a couple of weeks ago and he starts chemo today.

A couple of poor wee beasts whose adventures we follow on Facebook and elsewhere (Animalist.com for Marmalade) have been doing poorly with things that are either cancer or something that seems like it but is some obscure animal ailment I know little about lately: Barley the possum and Marmalade the cat. Please pray for them. [Frown]

For ChastMastr's Barney and Marmaduke.

For comet.

For daisymay's computer.

For Sioni Sais' head of department, for healing.

For Starbug, for sufficient healing to deliver a sound asskicking to her boss. Or ideally, for her boss to see the light and mend his ways.

For QLib's colleagues.

For T., in desperate need of healing, and B. in difficulty.

For the Telemum.

For me to get all things done and still have time to rest.

For my paper to be published.

Please pray for Cubby. If proper meds of some kind that are genuinely helpful don't get called in by the doctor's office tomorrow, we will have to either (1) get a bedside commode or (2) have the ER people come and get him. His arthritic knee hurts so badly he can't get up and get to the bathroom which is adjacent to his bedroom. I have no idea where to get an affordable bedside commode at all. (Posted on Facebook asking if anyone local has one to please let me know.) I'm mentally frazzled by all of this pretty badly right now.

We're hoping for the meds to be called in tomorrow. There is something maddening about calling back and hoping only to be told it hasn't been faxed in yet. (And why do they use FAXES in this day and age??)

Have a bit of peace about the whole thing now. I trust it will work out and that all will be well. That doesn't mean I won't feel panicky later, and please of course keep praying. Love to all.

Please pray for Rachael and Peter, who are getting married here in the hospice today, with all that means for the couple, their families, their friends and the staff.

There's also Christmas happening for another patient just down the corridor.

When I asked my dad this morning if he was still here, I got a tiny, almost imperceptible, nod.

What Raptor said.

For Cubby, for urgent healing.

For daisymay, for healing.

For Doc Tor and Dad Tor.

For fullgospel.

For Kelly Alves.

For those mourning the loss of Tom Shaw.

For Welease Woderwick.

For Zoey.

For Auntie Danger and the cousins.

For the Telemum.

For M. and her family.

For T and B.

For me to get a grip on things, especially my own finances.

For my paper to be published and for my plans to succeed.

For S. who worked very hard to get an application in on time but was thwarted by not being able to submit supporting documents because the hiring manager didn't update the closing date correctly.

my thanks for prayer for me as I prepare to be received into RC church & confirmed. In 36 days. Prayer Appreciated.

I am rather unwell (not serious) at the moment, but calm and content. Means space for prayer & am reading Bible as i have nt since my teens, I notice.

I am praying for all here & there....

For me: health, energy, general upholding, private intentions, and a thorough banishing of trouble "gremlins".

Thanks.
